Exhibition and Quantum Lounge at the ZAM (Center for Sharing and Making)

A co-creation by 26 comic artists with ELINAS (Erlangen Center for Literature and Natural Science) and Klaus Mecke, Chair of Theoretical Physics at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg.

„Must the quantum world remain a mystery to us simply because we lack the senses to perceive it?“

Comics illustrating quantum phenomena in imaginative and original ways were „entangled“ with the ZAM’s existing furniture and fixtures, creating a space for encounter and exploration that blends the atmosphere of a lounge, a lecture hall, and a laboratory.
